With the Termination of Service for Elyon being announced, we understand that many of you have questions. We've gathered the answers to the most common ones here.
Why is the game closing?
The key performance indicators of the EUNA region are unsustainable, and we are no longer able to provide the game experience we were hoping for.
When will the game close?
The Elyon EU/NA service will terminate on December 7, 2022.
Can I get a refund?
Please note that this does not apply to KCoin that has been converted into Rubies.
I have unspent rubies, can I get them refunded?
No, unspent Rubies are not eligible for refund.
I also play ArcheAge, can I get my rubies converted into Credits?
Unfortunately, converting Rubies into Credits is not possible.
What will happen to my account, my characters, and my items?
Your personal data stored in the Elyon databases will be permanently deleted on February 28, 2023.
What kind of compensation can I get?
Compensation will not be provided apart from the aforementioned cases.
How can I get my personal data removed from your database?
If you wish to delete your Kakao Games account, please visit your Account page and refer to the “Delete my account” segment at the bottom of the “MY INFORMATION” tab.
Will the game be started up again in the future? Will someone else publish Elyon?
There are no plans to re-open the EU/NA service.
Why is the game not closing in other regions?
Other publishers want to continue servicing Elyon in their respective territories of service.
How can I play in another region?
Playing in other regions will unfortunately not be possible due to IP blocks implemented in accordance with the license agreements of each territory.
Will you be fixing any more bugs?
Additional patches (including bugfix ones) will only be implemented for critical issues.
Will you be making any more balance changes?
No, there will not be any additional patches (including balance patches) after September 7, unless they are to fix critical issues.
Will you be nerfing the enhancement system?
We don’t plan to make any changes to the enhancement system past the updated version included in the September 7 patch. Nonetheless, we may give free enhancement materials at a later date.
Can I ask the GMs to give me free stuff?
We will not be providing items to players on an individual basis, but we are planning on executing some fun goodbye events.
Can I ask the GMs to transfer all my progress from my old Main character to my new Soulbringer?
The Game Master team will not assist with transferring items or other character-bound progress (such as inventory expansions) that are not intended to be unbound.
Similarly, the Game Master team will not assist with restoring resources used for item growth before the patch on the 7th of September. If a mistake is made with item growth after the patch on September 7th, a Game Master may be able to assist with reverting it. Please note that assistance isn't always possible.
I’ve been trying to get a specific item for a long time, can I get it for free now that the game is shutting down anyway?
Similar to the above question, we will not be providing items to players on an individual basis.
When will the Ruby Shop shut down?
It will remain open until the end of service.
Will I be able to buy things for 0 rubies?
No, Ruby Shop items will continue to be sold for Rubies only - nonetheless, you can expect large discounts later on.
Will there be any special End of Elyon events?
Yes, we are planning on hosting special goodbye events.
